  surprisingly good score

I am not as familiar with David Newman as I would like to be, so I bought this score, and I was indeed impressed. It is an entertaining listen, and has a depth missing from many recent film scores. The only downside is only 40 minutes of score, and while I realize that that might be all Newman composed for the film, it still would have been better longer. I am planning on buying more David Newman albums, for I definitely prefer him over many other composers, including Thomas Newman. A gem of a score!
