Filmtracks' anti-Christian rhetoric   Tuesday, March 9, 2010 (1:56 p.m.)

"God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble." —Psalm 46:1

Pray for Christian Clemmensen. Pray about the negative influence of his reviews. And pray for humility and wisdom in his future. Clemmensen is a man who, somewhere along the way, has fallen into a perilous pit of treachery.

Scripture tells us that God tempts no man. Temptation always comes from the devil. Let not you nor your children be tempted by the wiles of Clemmensen or the reviews his pen will spawn.

How do we overcome it? A little child once told of her method. "When the devil comes knocking at my door," she said, "I don’t answer it. I send Jesus to the door." Tell your kids that’s the way to take care of it. They don’t have to read the web sites they shouldn’t, and they don’t have to listen to music they shouldn’t, even when all of you say how great it is.

Send Jesus to the door! Lord Jesus, help us all to remember the power of Your Holy Name.

Exactly. They don't have to, and we're not trying to force it on them. We're not infiltrating religious communities handing out CDs, we're not going to Christian websites praising film scores. So why don't you stop pushing your agenda where it's not wanted?

I'll pray that someone will give you a swift kick in the backside somewhere in the very near future, Pastor. How about that?

> "When the devil comes knocking at my door," she said, "I don’t answer
> it. I send Jesus to the door."

This quote is pure gold. So, Jesus is living with this little girl in her room doing what exactly? Having spirited conversation? Or perhaps something more? Does he also do gardening and does he have legal standing to stay in your country? I think we can see the actual meanings behind this little girl's words. Just leaves me to question who might the "devil" be in this instance... Maybe you should tell the girl that the next time this happens, she should rather call the police. Let the law handle this sort of violation.

Ironically you people seem to have great difficulty in following your own advice!

> Send Jesus to the door!

JESUS DOES NOT LIVE HERE! Otherwise I'd make him pay half the rent.

Oh my! I mean this is supposed to be a soundtrack review site for crying out loud! I am a devout Christian and when I listen to this score I appreciate Marianelli's talent and when I read the review about the score I simply agree that it's great. Of course I agree about sending Jesus to the door, but your comment is simply an overreaction. I don't listen to it and suddenly get converted into a pagan. I don't read the review and suddenly get tempted to deny my faith. True Christians know better than that. And if you're really a pastor, Pastor, than you should listen to this score and be able to see God's hands in Dario Marianelli's talent.
