The Alamo, you're a bit off...   Friday, April 30, 2004 (12:26 a.m.)

the score only used about 78 or 79 musicians... good ear for the call on the orchestrations being more correct for about 80, as that is the case!! The other musicians you see credited were either part of one of the seven pre-records from the film, or an overlap from the original 3 days of scoring in Ocotober and the final scoring in February (not all are available at any given time!). Just thought you should know. Also, I don't know
any studio that has approved more than 115 to 120 players - ever.

but again, good ear.

P.S. - damn amazing score. understated, but beautiful nonetheless

If that is correct, then Christian Clemmensen is an idiot! *NM*   Sunday, May 9, 2004 (1:48 p.m.)

Beautiful score - beauty is in the ear of the listener.
