Second soundtrack   Thursday, August 4, 2005 (11:33 a.m.)

I fear not many will be visiting this page anymore, but those that do, please tell whether they will be releasing another soundtrack, with longer battle music from the scene at Gaugamela or the soft music before king Philipus is killed, when he's talking to his son. Any idea?

highly unlikely as vangelis dosnt really do "movie soundtrack albums" , he simply does albums that contain music from the film ..so u wont find an album that contains loads of short film cues..the occasionally one maybe ..but not a full album.

only the themes that turn up in the film that can double as normal album peices tend to appear in his soundtrack albums , and many times additional peices that are not used in the film.

you could try to capture the music from the 5.1 output of the dvd...although less than ideal , its something ...its what i did.

Hmmm, sounds interesting, but how to do this I'm not sure. I'll look into it. Thanks for the response btw.
