A disappointment apart from some cues

The obvious highlight of this score is the Main Title entitled as Titans .... with a wonderful choir, brasses, strings, percussion and drums. The first two tracks are listenable, but could have been better. The Drums Of Gaugamela is listenable as well,it has a wonderful choir, brasses and percussion and drums. Roxane' s Dance and Roxane' s Veil are good tracks with native instruments that are used in the Middle East.I think that Roxane' s Veil is better with the string accompaniment. However,I think that the second best cue on the album is Immortality:when Alexander The Great feels that he is mortal, and his body will die one day,and that he is uncertain that he can finish his plans in time in order to receive the immortality of his soul/spirit.Menacing,wordless choir with a slighty dark string and brass accompaniment with only a little hope.Eternal Alexander is a major disappointment:one should accept better music to illustrate the immortality of the soul/spirit of Alexander.....not this slow rendition of the main theme.I think that the main problem with that soundtrack is that it lacks enough interesting themes, there are too many variations of the main theme, and most of the tracks which are not the alternate versions of the main theme are completely unenjoyable. The most shocking thing that even the choir work is dull and horrible at some parts!!!!!There are just not enough interesting motifs, orchestral solutions and unique tracks to maintain my interest.I would have liked to like Alexander, but unfortunately,it will not prove interesting enough for me .....
