Hey all!

Well, I decided to finally make my profile official because I think one or two of you might have the wrong impression.

I'm highly opinionated and I love an argument, but usually when I sound over the top or go on a tirade, it's because I'm trying to be funny, mostly. I mean I'm just an easygoing guy who loves movies and music and has strong feelings about them. If I ever say anything that you take offense to, I apologize, and I am not the type of person to name-call or get personal. I might have differing opinions and sometimes I am stubborn about them, but I definitely enjoy other people's thoughts and insights (and many an insight have I found here on Filmtracks). One of these days I'll have to join Craig and Jonathan on their LA outings so they can vouch for me ;-)

You can check out my comedy videos on (search the term "Eh-Day!") to see the silly type of guy I am. As for music... John Williams is tops, followed by Goldsmith and Horer. Goldenthal, Elfman, Newton Howard and the rest of the usual suspects are up there for me. The classics get no better than Herrmann, Rosza and Rota, in my eyes. The only real place I differ from the typical Filmtracks regular is that I don't see eye to eye about Desplat (although he's growing on me). I love to keep my eyes on newer talent, the Giacchinos and such, and being a huge fan of classic rock, I love when new experimental works come along (the works of John Murphy).

Anyway, I'm pretty knowledgeable and I've actually been active on this site for some time now, so I thought by adding some info about myself, I could more comfortably jump into these convos you guys have.

I anxiously await lots of good arguments. See you soon!
