No reference to earlier films in the series???

Im not convinced this is the case. For a start, the predator scens in the film were scored with percussion, much like Silvestri did originally (albeit a different style). There are hints of "Bishop's Countdown" (it's more a rip, or homage) in the "Alien Fight" and "Showdown" tracks and "Predator Space Ship" does have that wee two-note whistle at the beginning used by Goldsmith, Horner and Frizzell in Alien, Aliens and Alien: Resurrection respectively. What does anyone else think?
