Not bad, but no match for the original Alien saga

Not bad, but no match for the original Alien saga   Monday, August 30, 2004 (4:47 a.m.)

There are parts that sound nice, but generally I miss something fundamental in this score. Naturally there's the anti-AVP-opinion playing a major role when listening to this score, the scores for the Alien saga (mainly the first 3 chapters) as well as the original Predator were great archivements. I can't help but comparing this score to those scores. From that point of view this score doesn't come close to those scores. While AVP is probably functional in the movie, I still recommend listening to Alien (Jerry), Aliens (James) and Alien 3 (Elliot) instead..

I liked some of the tracks but I can't say it was "amazing"...i felt a lack of mmm let's say strength I don't know what it was...but it left me expecting something at the end I didn't get, anyways, I liked better Harald's score for "day after tomorrow"...:)
