  Decent score

Along Came A Spider is by no means a horrible score. It suits the film really nicely which is what a film score is supposed to do, but on album it does get a little monotonous. I think the best track is The Ransom which clearly shows Goldsmith's 21st century sound and his action music capabilities. The score is ominous, suspenseful and action oriented with loud exclamation marks coming from the brass and pounding percussion. In other words, it's your typical modern Goldsmith score. For those of you that like Goldsmith's style, you will like this. Other than that, chances are you will end up collecting spider webs on it because it won't be in your player that much.
