The Amelie soundtrack is not the regular Hollywood leitmotif soundtrack. Instead, approach it as a "variations on a theme" work. This theme is the Parisian life. If you are unfamiliar with it, it is a simple matter of opening your mind and let the music bring you into another world. As long as you like beautiful and playful melodies, there is much to admire and enjoy in this soundtrack.
