George Fenton and his music   Saturday, June 12, 2004 (9:53 p.m.)

Hi, I just watched Anna and the King again last nite on TV by accident, and ran out today for the soundtrack. It's really beautiful.
I was wondering if any of his other soundtracks are just as good, like Ever After and Sweet Home Alabama.
Lastly, does anyone happen to have a copy of a score/transcript of his music?
I'd like to learn more about his orchestration.

Thanx,

Hide.

If you like Anna and the King, I can equally recommen Ever After, which is a really warm romantic score, just as lush as Anna and the King; Memphis Belle, which has some great, great themes; Blue Planet and In Love and War. Any of those is a pretty sure bet. Haven't heard Sweet Home Alabama yet.
