Apollo 13 in Titanic?   Saturday, December 22, 2001 (8:00 p.m.)

I thought I heard a small tune from Apollo 13 (also by Horner) in the "Death Of Titanic" track in Titanic. It was at around 6:16 of the track. Could someone confirm this or was I just hearing things?

Dude, You are so right. I heard it too. Actually, I feel that the whole track
has Apollo 13 written all over it. It's like where there is typical Apollo 13, Horner
replaced it with Titanic, so you were definitely Not hearing things man

Yeah the complete main theme from Enemy At The Gates is not only stolen from Williams' Schindler's List but is also very very similair to those mentioned cues from Apollo 13 and Titanic.

It's all Horner's style. He "borrows" from himself quite a bit. If you go back even further, you'll hear many of Apollo 13 (and Titanic's) track sounding like stuff from The Rocketeer, and even Wrath of Kahn. Check this out: Listen to the very end of Wrath of Kahn (the credits music), and listen for that ascending chord progression. Now, listen to the Rocketeer (again, the credits) and listen again....it's the same! The progression can also be heard in Titanic, I believe the track is "Take her out" or whatever it is (CD not sitting in front of me). Horner sure likes that progression!
