Those later tracks are absolutely, astoundingly moving to me - orchestral, choral, exotic percussion - the perfect, amazing "otherworldly" sound. The movie itself has gaping story holes a mile wide, but the sweeping vistas of Atlantis, the power unleashed in the climactic scenes, and the tender moments (like the king's death and "Kida Returns") just sweep me away.

The early cuts are mostly warmed-over John Williams "Star Wars" - good, and fun/powerful to listen to, but nothing to write home about.
