I figure Christian is right about this score. It's not interesting for the first 9 tracks, but whew! I wish more filmscores had such spectacle in them! But if that were true, they wouldn't be special. James Newton Howard keeps making us beg for scraps, now that he's such a success. It's like he's in retirement, and "Signs" was something he did for us magnanimously. I hope he's still doing "Treasure Planet" and if he is, I hope he manages to blow fans like me out of the water again!
