Star Wars STINKS   Saturday, May 17, 2003 (9:42 p.m.)

The Star Wars score stinks. If you want a real good Williams score go for Harry Potter or Jurassic Park. For an even better score go for The Lord of the Rings.

If you dont like Star Wars thats fine, but don't have to say it like that. Next time give some reasons why you don't like.

O.K. if you want some reasons here ya go:

1) Most of the soundtrack is taken from other sources. ( Much like Jaws)
2) It really isn't written all that well.
3) The movies started to go down hill after The Return of the Jedi.
4) Horrible casting.
5) Horrible screenplay.
6) Horrible writting.
7) The characters will really get on your nerves after about five minutes.

It was not intended to be an insult. And I'm not what you call a "Star Wars lovin Freak".

I am more of a Star Trek fan, but wouldnt be calling me a "freak". I usally watch the new episodes once a week. And i some times watch the reruns if theres nothing on.
Any way you shouldnt assume things like that with out good reason.

While I tremendously apprecaite your strong support of LotR, I have to emphasize that AotC is one Williams' best scores of the last five years. And, yes, I think it's better than Jurassic Park and certainly better than Harry Potter.

Eh, you must be (a) 12 years old, (b) 11 years old, or (c) retarded.

Harry Potter was nowhere near as good as it should have been.
Jurassic Park was rather nice, but still not as good as AoTC. I personally can't wait for Episode III; especially for track 2 on the album. Williams seems to put the defining track as the second one on the album. In TPM, for example, track 2 was Duel of the Fates; now it's Across the Stars. I can only hope it's as good as the others. First soundtrack album I've been truly anticipating.
