hi i would just like to say that when i watched the film balto i enjoyed it alot. my favirote bit in the film is the white wolf scene i think it is quite a emotional and the most determined scene of the film , i would just like to ask one question who is the white wolf meant to be baltos father, mother? any one who knows please tell me !

hey katie,
i loved that scene too, it was the best in the whole film i think. i think that the white wolf is menat to represent balto's inner self, he is a wolf on the inside but a dog on the outside. ok he has some features that show he is part wolf (the pawprints) but he is a mixture of the best parts of each beast.

In Balto II it was supposed to be Balto's mother, and that was sortof the original intention in the first film. When asked about the scene, creators said, "It's a representation of his mother, his wolf side, come out to both confront and guide him." =)
