There are dramatic, sad and elegiac music which reflect to the mental and physical hardships of war,and the losses of individual persons. There are some tracks with fast string and powerful brasses to illustrate the battle scenes, and the victories of the Allies over the Nazis.Heartfelt strings, soft and gentle, yet powerful brasses, and beautiful elegiac piano work reflect to the terrible reality of the war. There are some mysterious and suspenseful cues to reflect to the dangers that lurks in the frontline. The music is very expressive, and express a lot of emotions about the fears, doubts, hopes and other emotions of the soldiers.Truly beautiful soundtrack, worth as a memorial of those brave soldiers who fight for true values such as justice, human rights, and the freedom of act and thinking.
Highly recommended.
