This mini-serie is the best one I ever have seen so far. I've been watching some
parts seperately, so I bought myself the whole video serie. It's breathtaking how Spielberg and Hanks touches the soul of each soldier in this film and how they bring out the emotions of hate against Germany in each one of us who is looking at it. You become one with all the personalities in this film and you want to know more about them. I'm lucky to have an American Cemetery not far away from my home, where I very often pledge honor to all these men, American, Canadian, Englishmen, ...

There is never a greater goal to fight for than Peace. That's why we have to keep this dream alive day by day. War is not the answer but it is the doorway we sometimes have to walk through to get Peace. May God bless all of them who put their life in danger to obtain this goal.

With best regards,

Hubert Vanderhoven.
