I'm glad they released a score for Band of Brothers but why
have they never released a score for From the Earth to the Moon?

I saw it in stores a few years back when HBO released that movie. You might want to look for it in the internet because it definately was released.

The From the Earth to the Moon CD contains two score cuts, Kamen's opening and closing credits, but the rest were pop songs used throughout the series.

I hope they will release a score CD as there was some great music from James Newton Howard, Mason Daring, Mark Mancina and Michael Kamen.

The episodes that Mason Daring scored included the best theme of the series. It was so subtle, yet so effective. I know that it will never be released on cd, but I have the DVD and I frequently watch those episodes merely for the music.

I feel your pain. There is a major need of this soundtrack. My Sugestion. Petition HBO. I hope this was insightful. First time I've posted here.

Thank you! I've seen the series so many times and was so disappointed there was no CD for the score (only for the songs). Wonderful!
