While not officially acknowledged,this "finale" in the Batman score is obviously based on that famous section of Richard Stauss's "Also Sprach Zarathustra" (1896). It is a musical expression of Freidrich Nietzsche's philosophical ideas of "Eternal Recurrence" and the "Superman". It was also famously used in Stanley Kubrick's film "2001: A Space Odyssey", which may be where you recognise it from??
