Zimmer and Howard...Who should be next?   Wednesday, August 10, 2005 (11:43 p.m.)

It was awsome to hear these guys work together. Who do think would be cool to hear team up next? (i.e. John Williams and Danny Elfman would rock. Any thoughts?)

I always wanted a John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith collabration but that dream has broken. (R.I.P. Jerry.) Id say... John Williams & Hans Zimmer

I think Danny Elfman with Don Davis could be a great combo.
Danny's melodies combined with Don's imaginative orchastrations and use of both live orchastra and digital sound.

My original wish was to have Don Davis as the composer of "Batman Begins".
Just look how much the existing "Batman Begins" soundtrack borrows heavily from both of those gentlemen's work (mostly from "Matrix" and "Spider-man").

James Newton Howard and Thomas Newman would also be a great combo.

You know, I wouldn't mind hearing what Michael Giacchino and Bill Brown (two of the best video game scorers in recent years) would have done with this movie. Brown can occasionally have a Zimmerish sound, but he always manages to maintain a good degree of separation. And the youthfulness of Giacchino's writing would be a great compliment, I think.

Muahahahahahahaha! Are you kidding me? Don't you want a SINGLE original note in this movie? Holy rehash, Batman!

Give me Danny! Give him just ONE more shot at Batman! Why are fans never getting what they want? It's like every director is like "Oh nooo, we can't go for the obvious, even if it could rock, we'll do something radically different, even if it sucks" ...
Batman and Horner, that's like Star Wars and Rachel Portman ...

And why is everyone demanding John Williams for anything that comes out? JW is not a solution for everything!

Dood, that's what we get without them collaborating with eachother. *LOL* God, It's good to see that we could have some fun in the middle of this board. *LOL*

Williams had admitted he is very fond of the music of Thomans Newman. Williams thinks Newman is a very talented Composer, and so do I... So my match would be

Music by John Williams and Thomas Newman

Furthermore Williams' recent action efforts remind me of the agressive music that Goldenthal often writes... So that would be a great match!

Music by John Williams and Elliot Goldenthal
