Macrotus and Lasirius - Very Zimmerish   Sunday, September 4, 2005 (8:22 p.m.)

Hey everyone, Macrotus definently sounds like something Zimmer would produce, though everyone is saying it's JNH track i'm sensing some definite input into the theme of that track by Zimmer- I've never heard a JNH theme as emotional or rousing as Macrotus, which is why i suspect Zimmer input.
Also - Lasirius- was that written entirely by Zimmer?

Hey, I don't say Macrotus is a JNH track, of course it contains material by Zimmer too. And as they stated: "there aren't JNH and Zimmer tracks on this album".
But please listen to Unbreakable soundtrack and then listen Macrotus' first 1:44 minutes. That tune is inspired by the same person who scored Unbreakable and it was James Newton Howard.
BTW from 1:44 (when the low strings come), that's Zimmer for example. And there are other nice tunes on this album by Zimmer too.

And overall, they didn't create the tracks by putting their compositions piece by piece together. It's a collaboration, it's more complex.
