This is an amazing score! It sounds like a realistic Batman should!

This is a great soundtrack! It is my favorite in fact with The Lord of the Ring's soundtracks in a close second. The Batman theme has got to be the most epic theme out there. The sound effects go well in the songs to make them feel like your watching Batman (sounds like swarms of bats to me). And finally I don't get the reviewers incredibly overblown bias against Hans Zimmer. Why criticize a guy who effectively expands the world of music that is enjoyable and good. PS This soundtrack does show duality. Just listen to the difference between Episcus (and similar themes, The progression in wayne's themes can be seen as he gets older) and The Batman theme that is played during the first 2 minutes of the end credits, You should see the Bruce wayne(scarred, guilty, and hidden anger)/Batman Duality. The minor key works great to portray Batman and Gotham as dark. a Major Key would have destroyed the film. Also Elfman's score is great for Tim Burton's movies, but his style is to wacky for Nolan's films.
