Goldenthal's Theme   Saturday, August 2, 2003 (2:11 p.m.)

Although I don't like Goldenthal's scores as a whole as much as Elfman's, I like his Batman theme more, it seems to breath, and be more radiant, or something. It sounds more majestic. What does everybody else think? I'd like to know.

Well, the first Batman movie I saw was Batman Forever, and it was also one of the first times I remember hearing the music and thinking "That's cool!" So, from the start, I've been more inclined to Goldenthal's theme than Elfman's (I didn't even see the first Batman movie until about a year ago). As such, I think I will always associate Goldenthal's theme w/ Batman before Elfman's.

Yeahhhh. Same thing with me, the first one I saw (and heard) was Batman Forever. I just recently heard Elfman's theme, and don't like it as much. Maybe it's b/c it's not what we heard first? I dunno. Either way, yeah, I agree.
