Horner has definitely changed in style during the last decade. Although the recycling of themes and ideas has been a problem, they’re giving birth to a very unique voice and personal style. This record is a bit long, but beautifully orchestrated. It’s difficult to tell where this soul searching will take him, but I hope it will bring us some truly original music.
