Listen to the track "The Blowing Sands", then to the Introduction of the Second Part of Igor Stravinskys Rite of Spring (or Sacre du Printemps). You can very clearly hear where the inspiration comes from...
Nonetheless a fine score from James Horner! I like it a lot, especially that one track.
