To me Blade Runner is a masterpiece of modern film, and the music in it, is inseparable from that masterpiece.

The music along with other aspects of the film have been emulated again and again in other films.

I find myself rolling my eyes whenever i hear Chariots of Fire, but when I hear Blade Runner I just get transported.

We agree to disagree though :P.
