Ever since the first time I have seen this movie with my wife, the small 20 second chant during the Royal Wedding has been with me to this day. It is absolutely haunting and beautiful at the same time. I was wondering if this is perhaps something Horner created to add to the scene, or if it has a true origin as a real song or chant borrowed to enhance the English feel of the Royal Wedding. Can anyone tell me more about this song or what style of chant/choir this is? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
