Comments about the soundtrack for Chappie (Hans Zimmer/Various)

Normally disagree with the Zimmer reviews...   Friday, March 13, 2015 (11:30 a.m.) 

...but this time I have to agree. Quite a disappointment considering the concept, and also the neat Vangelis vibe. The score is way too monochromatic. The main theme is a nice Zimmer construct, but it isn't utilized enough or effectively. I liked the Morricone influence in "We Own This Sky", but otherwise I felt like I was just hearing a less interesting recycling of of ASM2's Electro material.
