Thank you very much for improving your review, Mr. Clemmensen. Like 'The 'burbs', 'Cherry 2000' is one of my 'never-boring' scores. By the way, after I read your former review in 1998, I had been determined to get 'Cherry 2000', and finally got it in 2000. However, my CD is somewhat different. This edition contains not only 'Cherry 2000', but also 'Flesh + Blood' from Varese club CD. I don't know whether this CD, limited edition(500 copies...my one is #165) made by Platinum Music, is bootleg or not, but it has bar code and the company adddress. Anyway, this edition has correct listing with some changed title names, and you might be interested in it. After checking that mediocre movie, I think this modified listing is more correct.
Corrected Track Listing:
?1. Prologue (1:13)
?2. Lights On -> Cherry 2000 Theme (1:55)
?3. Main Title (1:58)
?4. Lester (5:04)
?5. Rauda (0:45)
?6. Hooded Love (1:17)
?7. The Barricades (1:52)
?8. Magneto -> Magnet Suspension (4:22)
?9. Drive to Gloryhole -> In Gloryhole (1:27)
?10. Thrashing of Sky Ranch -> Burning down Sky Ranch (3:27)
?11. Sam Flips -> Johnson's Home (1:18)
?12. Cherry Shorts Out (1:33)
?13. Lester on the Move (0:41)
?14. Drive -> Driving (1:52)
?15. Photograb -> The Photograph (1:09)
?16. Plane to Vegas (1:00)
?17. Untitled Track -> Rope Down (0:59)
?18. Ambush in the Cave/Truck Fight -> Ambush in the Cave(2:15)
?19. Flashback (1:08)
?20. Untitled Track -> Takeoff(0:54)
?21. Lights Out -> Storehouse Shootout (1:52)
?22. The End -> The Kiss (0:39)
'Cherry 2000', like 'Farewell to the King', was peformed by the Hungarian Opera State Orchestra. Considering that the latter one is completely different from the former, it's very interesting thing that both are played by the same orchestra.
