Too bad this otherwise great review is stained by such contemptuous statements.

Umh… Yeah, such a person exists. I also should say "such personS exist".
Who cares about scientific fallacies when you've got Aaron Eckhart, Delroy Lindo, Stanley Tucci, great dialogues, gripping direction and such a bombastic Christopher Young score ?
To me and everyone I know who has seen the movie, The Core is an undeniably above average, gripping and fun disaster movie.
