Now Playing: Courage Under Fire By Horner
This Is a Beautiful Score!
Christian I strongly disagree. The first track "Hymn" is solemn, very moving and tinged with the pathos of regret and loss. It is one of the stand-out cues of the CD. The opening track "Al Bathra/Main Title" which employs the sound of helicopter rotors spinning in the distance which gradually blend in with the music is creative, innovative and persuasive. The track "The Elegy" builds and ascends to a stirring emotional crescendo while the track "Courage Under Fire" provides the lyrical and mvoing music we have come to love from Horner. The CD concludes with one of Horner's reknown lengthly tracks "A Final Resting Place" that slowly builds to a dramatic and final restatement of the heartfelt hymn. The music works well in the film, and continues to be a great relisten for contemplative moments. I love this score.
