Mr. "don't waste your money" seems to fall into this category. He seems to have appointed himself as judge, jury and executioner when it comes to excellent music on soundtracks. If this makes him feel better then fine. It doesn't make him an "expert" anymore than it makes the rest of us "experts". In my humble opinion, the soundtrack of Crimson Tide is outstanding. Probably the best I've heard in quite sometime. It evokes feelings of anticipation, excitement, wonder and awe...all rolled into one. I enjoy music for it's ease in listening, not it's level of complication. So if you truly enjoy a musical score that sets itself apart from the rest, Crimson Tide is worth every penney.
