Possible Complete Edition Orchestra Flub?   Wednesday, May 4, 2005 (5:08 p.m.)

This message is for those of you who have heard the newly released 2-disk set of the Complete Motion Picture Soundtrack for Cutthroat Island.

There might be a flub on disk two, track 10 "Main title Morganís ride/without choir" at exactly 3:20; the Orchestra seems to have missed a note or two. The main theme sounded slightly choppy . It was not the typical skipping CD sound. Perhaps it might even be a rhythm change for the Main Title version w/o the choir, or maybe that is how it was supposed to sound all along? Anyway, if you listen closely you should be able to hear it. Otherwise, my brand new CD is faulty.

If anybody has heard anything peculiar please feel free to respond. Thanks.

track 10, cd 2; 'main title/ morgan's ride - without choir' is (to my knowledge) the very same version as the 'one with choir', this is the same thing, only before they added the choir ! i don't think they recorded the same queue twice, one without choir, and another with choir..... the choir are recorded separately, and mixed with the orchestra later.....!
(but i also noticed it, could be a mixing thing, or something, or a flaw they removed on the 'finished cue with choir')(but to me it doesn't seem like the orchestra missed a note, but rather played a extra/wrong note)
but i don't know for sure !
maybe we could ask the producers of the disc's.....or john debney himself, i guess he participated (not sure how you write this word) on this release as well !
