I absolutly agree with the review. I absolutely love the first Nolan Batman (second one won't come out over here until the end of September) but the soundtracks are painful, especially this second offering. I tried to listen to the whole thing but I simply couldn't make it through the whole soundtrack. 2008 has offered a couple of pretty brilliant soundtracks so far (even Gregson-Williams surprised me with a decent offering) but this is the first complete dud. While "Kung Fu Panda" was rather generic it was at least (sort of) enjoyable to listen to, this soundtrack is as pleasant to listen to as having a dentist drill a hole in a tooth.
