  Still more Delerue....


Those who like the 2 CD Varese compilation should try Disques Cinemusique's release of Delerue's RAPTURE/INTERLUDE scores; although not the original tracks this re-recording is remarkably faithful to the original material in arrangement, tempo and orchestration (although mostly synthesized). Nevertheless, highly recommended....a shame his wonderful unknown scores for PARIS BY NIGHT, AMERICAN FRIENDS, AMOS, SWORD OF GIDEON, ESCAPE FROM SOBIBOR, AURORA, QUEENIE and many others are not available in original recordings.....
