• Now Playing: Assault on the Tower

  Something weird!

I must have seen this movie far too many times, because I totally enjoyed this score. My personal favorites are "Gruber's Arrival", "Assault on the Tower", The Battle" and "Gruber's Departure", both scenes and music, even before I knew a CD was even released.

By the way, if the orchestra credited in the CD is the Hollywood Studio Symphony, why is the sound quality poor? Although I may be mistaken, I remember the orchestra being founded way after Die Hard was produced, which w2ould mean this is a re-recording, not the original version.

Either way, I actually learned about Michael Kamen's name after watching Die Hard. And I did enjoy the score a lot.
