Just an FYI. There is a very obscure CD called Epic Movie Music that uses the 7 minute finale as its closing track. I believe the Russian conductor captures exactly the best of this music. Some view us as intellectual suckers, but if you like let's say Horner's music from The Rocketeer all on its own you will find this recording satisfying like none other of this score.

Add'l: Well now that I educate myself a bit I'm guessing the album isn't all that obscure to Christian. Yuri Sazonoff probably well known by movie score enthusiasts. For those of us non-muscian's afflicted with the ability to call up finales from Tchaikovsky's 5th or Rachmaninoff's 2nd piano, Sazonoff does a great job of making the score believably serious. Best to you Christian, if I may.
