I'm not a Horner fan. I like only Braveheart, Glory, Mask of Zorro, Apollo 13 and this score.
Every critic points out scores Horner ripped off here. Sometimes a repetitive score brings a new quality. So:
Choir: No lyrics? What should it sing, "Kalinkah"?!
Four-note motif: In this score it actually makes sense. Two snipers at war?! We need a danger theme (Yes, here the motif becomes the theme). And it needs to repeat itself. If it annoys you that's good, because this is what this score was intended to do.
The beginning: Yes, I agree with the Braveheart rip-off here.
Now some rip-offs that weren't found yet:
Clear and Present Danger: twice in track 8, the beginning. There's a transition.
