The same thing Lucas done for Ridley Scott's Blade Runner in AOTC, as we see the industrial districts of the Corruscant in Zam-chasing sequence, much similar to opening sequences of Blade Runner. He did it (probably) in return for showing Millenium Falcon in Blade Runner when Deckard is flying in police-car with Gaff, and Falcon passing them from their left. It can be seen in widescreen Director's Cut of Blade Runner. Favour for favour
