"The songs aren't huge hits, with R.E.M.'s insufferably happy and shiny "Shiny Happy People" perhaps the best known of the lot."

I respectfully beg to differ; Jethro Tull's "Aqualung" is undoubtedly the most well-known song on the album (and it's not insufferably happy and shiny! it's a great tune!). Just makes me wonder why Tull's Ian Anderson would wanna be associated with a movie like this one.

Incidentally, Pete Townshend of The Who was approached for his song "Won't Get Fooled Again", but turned Moore down.
