I'm getting used to John Ottman's style of composing but, along with X2, Fantastic Four was lacking something. Maybe its the lack of background noise such as percussive instruments really pounding and affirming a strong theme or something. I do like the theme Ottman came up with but sadly, it was butchered in the opening credits. I believe Ottman has greater talent and hopefully will pull out all the stops with Superman Returns.
