As the final instalment in the series, and the demise of Damien Omen, it is only natural that the music in this last film should reflect the change in mood.
We have seen the enemy. Now we meet the only one who can stop him. From the harsh, discordant notes of the "Ave Santani", the sound is transformed into the harmony of a monestary choir. Though elements of horror still remain in the music, they are permeated by the persistent ticking of the clock, signifying that the reign of Damien Omen has reached his end.
Once again, a great score by Jerry Goldsmith, and a fitting conclusion for the series.
