But you don't deny that this is what's happening with Star Wars and LOTR / Hobbit (at least). It doesn't matter that you can't name a third example. The two I mentioned are enough. And perhaps those you've mentioned just forgot to payola.

And if a composer's work is so consistently great within a given franchise, why not throughout his career?
