  It's Dark for A Reason!


This is one cd I cannot listen to, or it will depress the heck out of me. lol, Horner makes the music dark, depressing, and the synthisizing was great, for it is supposed to sound like an out-of-this-world score.
I'll hand it to Horner, he plays with the listeners emotions, especially, the violin solos mixed with the pure depressing piano themes. Horner did a very nice job for the way the movie was presented, it's just too depressing for me.
I warn that if anyone gets the score, to watch out, because that theme will get stuck in your head all day, so try to be in a really good mood before listening to the music, it is that emotional
