  A truly excellent score


This is an excellent score for an excellent movie. The songs are memorable and emotional, and not the sappy, annoying junk that generally comes with most sentimental films such as October Sky. It is perfect in every way, and I only wish that MCA would re-release it so that people who didn't have a chance to get it during its original release would have a chance now.
