You misunderstand me. I wholeheartedly agree with the rating in and of itself, but it doesn't fit his words. Christian said it is the BEST any composer could have done with the script...and the BEST is, by necessity, full marks i.e. 5 out of 5. I'm just pointing out how the words don't fit with the stars.

And yes, I do like Hans Zimmer a lot and am starting to wonder whether Zimmer will ever produce a score that Christian can grudgingly give 5 stars, because he hasn't since Crimson Tide, over a decade ago. And yes, I do think Christian is slightly biased against Hans Zimmer because of his studio and the inferior music it does produce at an unsettling rate (Pirates 1, Transformers etc.), but Zimmer himself is still producing brilliant scores (Frost/Nixon, Angels & Demons) that have certainly not gotten worse since Crimson Tide.

So I hope that clears up a few things for you.
