After reading Mr. Clemmensen's review, I felt convicted to buy The Fury from Varese Sarabande. "No Williams collection is complete without it," he said, and he was right. This is definitely one of the best horror scores ever made, and even though I have never seen the film, the score was enough to send shiver's down my spine. It is one of William's best works, and yet, somehow, it goes under the radar unnoticed. It contains themes that are classic Williams in their grace and beauty, with heavy dark bass undertones, causing, as Mr. Clemmensen stated, the room to shake. I am telling you this now...if you are a fan of John WIlliams, you will be doing him and yourslef a disservice by not purchasing this soundtrack. There are only 2,999 copies left, so hurry up!!!
