Galaxy Quest TV Theme

I have the CD, "Lost Legends of Surf Guitar, and the first few bars of "Beyond the Surf" by the Tandems sounds EXACTLY like the Galaxy Quest TV Theme. Maybe Mr Newman owes a royalty check or two?
