Second Best Civil War Score Ever!   Sunday, June 1, 2003 (3:36 p.m.)

I love this score...

The flowing beautiful themes. The stunning use of the pipes, and the whole score for that matter baffles me (in a good way).

I don't understand how Frizzel/Edelmen could right such a quiet score for such a bloody and terrible conflict. But even so I love the whole score it seems more to show the aspects of war away from the battle but It is still incredible. I like this far better than Gettysburg and I find it second only to Glory. My favorite track is "VMI Will be heard from today" and then I love "Gods and Generals".

A truly incredible score worthy of an academy award!
